The ethos of the OH Cards drawers from a Gestalt background: stay in the ‘here and now’, start from the ‘I’ position, respect a person’s experience, ask open questions, listen actively, don´t judge.
This translates into OH´s many methods and possibilities of usage - exercises that are expanded by professionals and private persons every time they explore their intuitive associations to the OH Cards. OH supplies us with surprises, originating in our personal inner stories.
The OH Cards family consists of more than a dozen decks of cards, based on themes from resilience to trauma. They are painted by artists of different cultural backgrounds and each has a particular style. OH´s description of use and etiquette was written by a Gestalt therapist.
Fritz Perls would have welcomed this artistic tool which speaks to mind, body and spirit in an empowering and undogmatic manner. He had plans to move from Esalen in Big Sur to a Gestalt community on a Canadian West Coast island, when he passed away in 1970. It so happened on this island and in this community that the artist of the OH Cards - Ely Raman - and the freshly educated therapist Moritz Egetmeyer met and decided to take OH into the world.

MoreMe is the result of Sarah and Barbara’s shared love for finding new ways of being. Our inspiration came from the book Gestalt Therapy, Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality. Although the book was written in 1951 by Perls, Hefferline, and Goodman, the content is still relevant. The liberating material from this book underpins the framework of the MoreMe personal development cards.
Finding yourself requires that you observe yourself in action. We provide that action in the form of mindful creative experiments.
The card set consists of 58 personal development experiments on one side and 58 images that you can use for reflection on the other side. There is also a Guidebook for using the experiments to enrich your understanding and experience of using the self-help cards.
